What to see in Jiaozuo
Chenjiagou Village – The hometown of TaijiQuan( Taichi Boxing)
The village is situated in the middle part of the Qingfeng Mountain, 5km from East Wenxian County of Jiaozuo. Originally, it was called Changyang village, but later changed its name because a Zezhou native (in Shanxi Province) called Chen Bu moved and lived here generation after generation, so almost all the people in the village are his descendents. That is why the village is renamed after his surname. Also, it is named as “gou”, meaning ditch, because there is a deep ditch extending from the south to the north in the village.

Yuntai Mountain
Located in the Xiuwu county 40 km away from the northeast of Jiaozuo city, its scenic area is about 55 square km, including eight scenic areas, namely Xiaozhai Valley, Laotan Valley, Wenpan Valley, Zifang Lake, Zhuyu Peak, Baijia Crag, Wanshan Temple, Source of Heaven Waterfall, etc. There are totally 36 charming and unique peaks, dozens of natural karst caves, and countless pools, waterfalls, springs, lakes. The well-known Yuntai Heaven Waterfall in China with a falling head of 314 meters lies in the Laotan Valley scenic spot.

Out of Jiaozuo
Shaolin Temple
Shaolin Temple, located on the south foot of Songshan Mountain (one of China's five most famous mountains), is 76 kilometers away from Zhengzhou, capital of Central China's Henan Province. Origins of the myth founded in A.D. 496 during the period of the Northern Wei (386 -534 AD), the temple is full of history. In 527 AD, an Indian monk, Bodhidharma (known to the Chinese as Da Mo), founded the Mahayana sect of Buddhism, which is known as Chen (or Zen). He stayed there till his death in 535 AD, and the temple has become the centre of Chinese Buddhism.

Longmen Grottoes
The Longmen Grottoes are located in the south of Luoyang City. They are between Mount Xiang and Mount Longmen and face Yi River. Longmen Grottoes, Yungang Caves and Mogao Caves are regarded as the three most famous treasure houses of stone inscriptions in China. The grottoes were started around the year 493 when Emperor Xiaowen of the Northern Wei Dynasty (386-534) moved the capital to Luoyang and were continuously built during the 400 years until the Northern Song Dynasty (960-1127). The scenery measures 1,000 metres (about 1,094 yards) from north to south where there are over 2,300 holes and niches, 2,800 steles, 40 dagobas, 1,300 caves and 100,000 statues. Most of them are the works of the Northern Wei Dynasty and the flourishing age of the Tang Dynasty (618-907). Lots of historical materials concerning art, music, religion, calligraphy, medicine, costume and architecture are kept in Longmen Grottoes

More interesting places are considerable to visit we can’t list all of them because of the length of the page.
